I enjoyed my holiday at home with the bipeds. We had lots of long walks and the bipeds seem refreshed, even though they did do some jobs around the house and garden when they had said they were just going to relax.
I had to remind them once or twice that they should be out walking with me. I didn’t do this for selfish reasons, although I’m always ready for a walk, or an adventure – I was concerned as they had been tired when we moved and I know that there is nothing that refreshes them like a good long walk with me.
I expect you’re wondering how I knew they were tired and in need of a break, so I’ll explain. After spending a few days in a flurry of activity, hardly stopping for a break while they unpacked and cleaned, the bipeds suddenly flopped into chairs and refused to move for a few hours. They were both complaining about aches and pains from doing too much. I have made a study of biped behaviour, so I was able to understand these subtle signs.
I think these ducks that we saw were also showing signs of needing a rest!
I’ll be back soon with lots more news of my adventures!
