Thank you for visiting me today. This is my third blogging anniversary. When I started my blog, I never dreamt I would make so many lovely friends. Mulberry and Pippin, our cats, asked to join me in thanking you all for reading our tales.
On an anniversary it’s natural to look back as well as look forward to the future, so I thought it would be interesting to see which are my most viewed posts. I wasn’t surprised that To bark, or not to bark, that is the question is at the top of the list, but I was surprised that it is so far ahead of the rest – it has more than twice as many views as the next post. I think some of my doggy relations like the sound of their own voices a little too much and it worries their bipeds!
The second most viewed post is The sad truth about Kopi Luwak coffee. I was surprised to see The Kissing Gate has made it to number three – I find these gates interesting because I get a treat for going through one, but I didn’t know bipeds find them interesting. These posts are closely followed by The cute face of puppy farms and the post about Santa Pups. My more recent posts about barking then appear, The calm before the barking storm and Why barking at night can be a good thing.
The next posts on the list are about my favourite games – indoor and outdoor. But, from the search terms I’ve seen when these posts are viewed, I get the impression that they are not always the type of games the person searching had in mind. I won’t repeat any of those search terms, as puppies read this blog – I’ll just say that I think some of the people were looking for something a little more X-rated!
I think I need to bark some more about barking! It’s something that comes naturally to my relations, but can be a concern for their bipeds. I’m glad I’ve been able to reach an understanding with my bipeds about when it’s appropriate to bark.
I would like to wish you all an enjoyable holiday weekend. I’m hoping to go on some really long and interesting walks. I hope you all get to spend some quality time with your furry friends, or your favourite bipeds – that’s the reason holidays were invented! Just remember to be careful with the chocolate.
See you next Wednesday!
