Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

I hope you’re all looking forward to Christmas!

My letter to Santa appeared on Rumpy’s blog. My thanks to Rumpy for passing my message on to Santa. Many of my animal friends have sent lovely requests to Santa this year, it would be wonderful if all their wishes came true.

I’m still hoping that anyone wondering about getting a Santa Pup will think very carefully and find out about the breed. See – Santa Pups for Christmas? Read this first, straight from the doggy’s mouth.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

I have made lots of friends this year. It is fascinating to talk with animals and people from all over the world. Thank you to each and every one of you that lets me know you’ve visited my blog – either here or on other social media. It really makes my tail wag when one of you tells me you’ve enjoyed reading what I have to say!

In Spain, presents traditionally arrive 6th January – they are brought by the Three Kings on camels. Children leave out their shoes on the evening of 5th and in the morning the shoes contain presents. Santa didn’t used to visit Spain, but now he does so the children are very lucky – they get two lots of presents!

My bipeds have some time off and I’m going to be busy keeping an eye on them. I’m hoping to take them up the mountain a few times to play in the snow. The exercise will be good for them!

I plan to post again on 9th January.

I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and New Year.

See you next year!

  24. Wishing you and your two-leggers a wonderful Christmas! I’d send you more snow, Clowie, but we really need it here if I’m going to go snowshoeing with my scribe, Elizabeth. I’ll email you when we’re done at the shop for Christmas, where I’m pretending to be Santa’s Elf. We have lots of trees here (like yours only without the cat toys), and all our neighbours along the big gravel path are putting lights on them so that I don’t have to come home in the dark when I’m working at the shop. Isn’t that nice of them? And they look so pretty! How did you get yours to grow inside?
    Christmas Blessings!
Stella the Great Newfenees, via my scribe.

    • Hi Stella, I understand your reluctance to part with any snow – the more the better, I say! It would probably only melt here, I keep looking at the mountain and there’s less and less white left on it each day. It’s very disappointing. I’ll look out for your email and get my biped into action when I can. But I may not check every day, if it snows I’ll have to rush out for the day to enjoy it!
I’m really not sure how our tree survives, it’s been around quite a few years now. Every year they pull the poor thing apart and put it in a box in the garage. Then they push it together again at Christmas and complain if a few leaves come off – hardly surprising! I’m glad they treat me better than that.
      Have a lovely time!

      • Oh, MY! My two-leggers only do that when one of their trees falls down. They use sharp things to take the tree apart, stack up all the parts for a long time, then throw them into the basement through the winter.
Once I saw them throwing them from a pile in the basement into a box. But the box was so hot I couldn’t go near it!
It must be a magic box because trees go in, but they never come back out again… I’ve never seen a tree go into a box and them come back out again, but it makes more sense to me your way than what I’ve just described.
Maybe I shouldn’t have said anything, You must think I’m crazy!
        I remain,
Stella the (rather perplexed) Great Newfenees, via my scribe

  25. Woof! Woof! Sending you Golden Holiday Wishes. Enjoy your Holiday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
